"PITTORESQUE" means "beautiful like a picture" and "comely".
It is also a generic name to the period at 1830 that was the pioneer days of
travelers heading east. In the year 2000, we rethink "Japanese taste" and
try to reconstruct "PITTORESQUE". We attempt to express the turning
point, which can change existing values, through "Fashion". We shall
be happy if you can feel our "LE PITTORESQUE AU JAPON" in 2002, which
stick out from all convention. We thank all of you who join this project.
